Caveat Emptor

  • Hotel Merian am Rhein - basically a bog standard middle-of-the-road hotel which happens to have views over the Rhine river and the Basler Münster. Rooms of middling-size. Location excellent. Air-con (2007) was a bit dodgy and kind-of-worked. Repeated visits to Basel, I've not returned.
