Weekend in Berne and Fribourg by Mark Sukhija

17th June 2007

We've recently returned from a weekend trip to Berne during which we also took a side trip to Fribourg. In Bern, we stayed in the Best Western Hotel Bären, Bern which is only a short walk from the UNESCO World Heritage listed Old Town of Berne and the Gothic Berner Münster We also took a most pleasant dinner in Der Klötzlikeller, Berne which is centrally located in Kramgasse and close to Albert Einsteins house.

In Fribourg, we visited the Cathedral of Saint Nicholas and had a rather disappointing lunch at the Bindella.
