Jayson Bryant (of Unscrewed TV) and I recently sampled a bottle of Carrick Unravelled Pinot Noir. Jayson and I discuss the result of my Masters thesis on the "Online Marketing of Wine Tourism in New Zealand" before sampling a glass of Carrick Pinot Noir. While Pinot Noir had not been a favorite prior to me visiting Central Otago - I did experience a substantial change of mind during a previous trip to the Central Otago region. I think it's fair to say that neither Jayson nor I rated the Carrick Unravelled Pinot Noir very highly. Speaking for myself, I remain a fan of Gibbston Valley and Chard Farm (both the Tiger and Viper for the latter.)
