Napoli - view from Sant'Elmo

One of the highlights of our recent trip to Naples was a visit to the Castel Sant'Elmo The Castle, well above the city and port of Naples itself, affords excellent view of the city and port area and is visible from most of the city itself.

In the distance of this picture, on the opposite hill, is the famous National Museum of Capodimonte which boasts several world class paintings including an uncompleted painting of the Farnese Pope Paul III and his two nephews by Titian.
