Overlooking the Niederdorf district of Zürich from a residential balcony is Heidi the Zürich cow. Ever popular for photographs with tourists who bother to glance up and spot her, Heidi is one Zürich landmark which is easy enough to miss to a rogue glance the wrong way.
Once a piece of street art in Zürich , Heidi was purchased and put on permanent display perched overlooking various Niederdorf eateries as though observing the goings on of her neighbourhood.
On either side, Heidi sports paintings of the shorefronts of the Limmat river which runs close by through central Zürich .
