Zürich on a sunshiney day can be one of the most pleasant cities in Switzerland Both the Lake and the River Limmat (pictured) running through the centre of the city are pleasant places to stop for cups of coffee and a pastry.
The spires in this picture are of Fraumünster in the distance and St Peters Church . Fraumünster is home to famous stained glass windows my Marc Chagall. While St Peters Church , appropriately for Switzerland sports Europe's' largest clock face - the diameter is 8.7 meters and the minute hand is nearly 4 meters long.
River taxis can be picked up from behind the Landesmuseum and take you down to the lake front.
