Taranaki - Street scene at Taranaki Pioneer Village

This street scene was taken at Taranaki Pioneer Village just outside Stratford

Taranaki Pioneer Village has an impressive collection of building built by white settlers in the region dating from the 19th Century including the Mania Police Stables and an impressive homestead. One home holds a Kauri bath - which is thought to be the only one of its kind in New Zealand
