Chur - façade of an old town building

Chur, the Alpine City, has a small, pretty old town.

Although not a major destination in itself, Chur has quick a charming old town and the Cathedral exhibits a wide variety of styles from a Romanesque entrance, Gothic style arches to Baroque style alters.

The building above is one of the most ornate façades in the old town which warrants a half day visit on your way to the bigger destinations of the Engadine such as Sankt Moritz.
