Architecturally, Auckland is a hodge-podge of different styles. Façades have been retained and large, glass buildings placed behind them - giving a surreal "Ancient and Modern" look to the whole affair. Auckland is also home to the tallest building in the southern hemisphere - the Sky Tower - which is reflected in this picture.
