Zürich - Luxemburgerli by Mark Sukhija

Zürich - Luxemburgerli

For many visitors to Switzerland chocolate is a highlight of their visit. However, in Zürich there is another local treat. Luxemburgerli. Basically, a small macaron the Luxemburgerli are a speciality of the Confiserie Sprüngli. Available in a variety of flavours - many seasonal - the Luxemburgerli are best eaten as soon as possible after purchase. Really.

My top tip? Stop the in Sprüngli cafe at Paradeplatz - enjoy a warming cup of delicious hot chocolate and take some Luxemburgerli away with you.
