The Grand Place in central Brussels is one of the most visited places in the Belgian capital city. It's not difficult to see why as it's home to some of the most heavily decorated buildings in the city - the most famous being the Rathaus (one the left of this image) and former guild houses. Each of the guildhouses is, apparently, decorated according to the guild which occupied it and the level of decoration exhibits the wealth that the guild had accumulated.
