Waiheke Island - Mudbrick from the air by Mark Sukhija

Mudbrick Vineyard is one of my favorite wineries in New Zealand - and with some cause. The wines, as you might expect, are excellent - I've always enjoyed the Mudbrick Vineyard Syrah - especially when they have a Reserve Syrah on offer. Mudbrick Vineyard is beautifully set and, from the hill behind the restaurant, affords views of Auckland , the Coromandel and Northland. Naturally enough, I recommend taking lunch at the fine restaurant.
